Originaire de Montréal, le quatuor Kintra s'est fait découvrir en 2007 avec son premier album, « Versus ». Cet album a connu une certaine visibilité grâce à son positionnement sur le palmarès de Bande à part (Radio-Canada), à certains extraits parus sur des compilations au Québec et en France, à un vidéoclip (« Phran-Ko Phun »), de même qu'à plusieurs entrevues radios et de nombreux spectacles au Québec comme en Ontario. Très impliqué sur la scène métal francophone québécoise, le groupe cherche constamment à repousser les barrières linguistiques au sein de la communauté musicale. En 2010, le groupe livre son second opus, « La collision des corps ». ______________________________________ Kintra is a nu-metal band fron Montréal QC. Its first album "Versus", in 2007, received good critics and defined Kintra as a "Frenchmetal" act. Along with songs well positioned on compilation albums both in Quebec and in France, a video-clip (for the song "Phran-Ko Phun"), and many radio interviews, Kintra has been able to tour the provinces of Quebec and Ontario, and eventually hit no. 1 of "Bande-à-part" (a Radio-Canada chart) in Spring 2008. Through its music and its involvement in the french metal scene, Kintra tries to abolish all linguistic barriers in the metal brotherhood.
