Des chiens d'argent voila qui décrit sommairement mais quand même assez bien ce duo de vieux loups qui rockent depuis que le monde est monde.................................... Robert Marchand(guitares,basse,claviers, voix,programmation,réalisation) et SamCerro (voix,guitares) proposent un rock simple qui, certains diront, n'invente rien mais qui est tout de même bien senti et très accessible. Avec Pierre Dragon à la batterie et Richard Lanthier à la basse,Robert et Sam formèrent à l'aube des années 80 un groupe appelé "DOGZ" qui mixaient leurs compositions parmi les 21 pieces d'un spectacle "hommage" a Van Halen...Ils sillonnèrent les routes du Québec et de l'Ontario et avec l'arrivée de Michel Corriveau aux claviers et aux arrangements,les gars travaillaient sur du nouveau matériel plus recherché et plus en accord avec le son "new wave" a l'époque de Mister Mister et Wang Chung... Plusieurs de ces chansons se retrouvent ici aujourd'hui "revisitées" par Sam et Bob. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Sam Cerro and Robert Marchand met in the early eighties. Along with Pierre Dragon on drums and Richard Lanthier on Bass, they formed a group called "Dogz" playing night clubs throughout the province of Quebec as a tribute to "Van Halen"mixed with their own compositions. The story goes on for quite some time until sometime around 1983 they recruted keyboardist/arranger Michel Corriveau and started working on new material, a bit more complex and a bit more in the sound. The sound being of course bands such as Mister Mister and Wang Chung....Most are here on this site "revisited" by Bob and Sam. Robert Marchand and Sam Cerro have been writing for decades, the music they make is Hard Rock They were amongst the earliest listeners of CHOM dating back to CKGM-FM when programming would change at 8:00 PM from classical music to Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles. In a sense, the folks at CHOM are a little responsible for their continued juvenile delinquency. they were two-time finalists in the L'Esprit contest under the name "Fair Warning". Today Bob and Sam are back together and rocking cyberspace with their sometimes obnoxious but always melodic rock. (Moins de texte)
